I am so sorry to learn of Brent’s passing. Although I never met him, his father taught my family the Gospel and baptized all of us more than 50 years ago, so I have no doubt Brent was a special man. May our Heavenly Father enfold you and bring you peace, and may you find comfort in your many memories of Brent. We are so blessed to know that we will be reunited with our loved ones in the next life. Much love.

I am a Synchrony employee within the CareCredit organization but I did not have the pleasure of meeting him in person. My interaction with him was through email when he launched a new terminal pilot program for our partners who relied on terminal usage for their transactions. When I asked him to resend information to one of my practices, he was on it right away. That brief interaction made enough of a positive impact on me to recognize his name when I received the news of his passing. While I’m happy to hear he knew the Lord, I’m saddened to learn he left behind his wife and daughters.
To the family, especially Allison and his daughters, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you endure this season of grief.

Linda – so sorry to hear about your untimely loss. A comment I heard on one of the Doctrine and Covenants discussions was that sometimes people die young because the Lord needs good missionaries on the other side. I’m sure this was the case but it still makes it hard on the Family. Words cannot express and cannot take away the loss and pain. I send my love.

  • My deepest sympathies to you Allison, your beautiful children and Brent’s parents and family. I have worked with Brent for 10 years and could share so many stories of his selflessness at work, professionalism and integrity. But I remember him beaming with pride as he told me about a hike he completed with his oldest child and how proud he was of her. He talked about how brave and strong she was. He loved every minute of watching her hike that difficult trail. He even said she was more brave than he was. That is what I will remember when I think of Brent. Many thoughts and prayers to you all.

  • I was fortunate to know Brent and graduate from high school with him. He was a great friend and tremendous example to me. Though it has been some time since I have been in touch, I know that Brent has made a positive impact on the world. He will be greatly missed, and my thoughts and prayers are with the Lacey family. I love you all and know that Heavenly Father is with you during this difficult time.
