Benjamin Charles Kim Rowberry

My sincere condolences to Benjamin’s friends and family. It had been around twenty years since I had fully revisited my memories of first meeting Ben. At the time I had been going through the beginning of some very unexpected trauma when we had met. I was twelve and I believe he was thirteen. His generosity and openness to me ignited a profound impact on the trajectory of my life. I will forever be grateful for Ben. He taught me so much in the short time we got to know one another. He created a lasting rich legacy caring for and touching those around him while creating an amazing name for him self as well. Ben and I had different backgrounds family wise but we grew up and graduated at the same places. I had also played soccer around the same time and we grew up in an active neighborhood around the school. So when our lives crossed paths he was one of the first people who showed me what a real naturally amazing, genuine, loving, giving human being could be. Maybe because he was an angel on earth and knew in that moment that I needed a friend beyond my understanding. An amazing generous friend who impacted and changed my life for the better. I could never thank him enough and I’ll never forget his kindness to me. He had never asked for anything in return. Never had he been impatient or judgmental towards me. I’m forever grateful to his family and friends who raised him & grew up with him. Who were so unconditionally loving towards Ben his whole life. I pray for his friends and family and that Ben is forever resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord and Savior. I want to honor and live the rest of my life by his extraordinary example. I’ll be visiting and paying my proper respects to an incandescent, eternal loving light. A true guardian angel watching over his loved ones and resting peacefully for he loved and lived his life with so much thoughtfulness, fun, music, love, talent, loyalty, kindness, joy, courage, grace, generosity, bravery, patience and the will to create positivity and long lasting memories towards everyone he cared for and never giving up on those he loved. A very down to earth human with a miraculous beautiful smile. That’s how I will always remember him. He is forever in my heart and mind. An incomparable beautiful deserving soul who I’m forever grateful to! May our Lord continue to bless, love, comfort and welcome his beloved spirit home. The way sweet Ben did for all of those who were blessed to be around him here on earth. I’ll continue to pray that Ben is free, flying high and resting eternally in peace. Amen.

Dear Lucinda & Family: My family & I wish to send you our wishes that God will give you peace & resignation at the unexpected Passing of your wonderful son & brother, Ben. Thank heavens for God’s plan of salvation, for the knowledge that Ben is doing a work beyond the veil of mortality, & that one day, because of the atonement of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, you will be reunited with him as a family!! It will be hard for you to finish your work here on this earth without him, but until that great day when you will meet again, I hope all the good things Ben did on this earth & the knowledge that you will all be reunited with him to be a family once again, gives you comfort & peace that surpasses human understanding! So saddened to hear of Ben’s passing. My daughter and I as well as my niece and sister had the pleasure of meeting Ben when he played at my daughter’s birthday party several years ago at our home. Ben was a beautiful person and musician and He will be missed by so many.
