Barbara Joan Nohr

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Joan Nohr, who peacefully departed this life on July 28, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born on May 1, 1946, in Chicago, IL, Barbara was a cherished mother, devoted daughter, and loyal friend. She lived her life with grace, strength, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her greatest joy was caring for those she loved and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and compassion. Barbara was known for her kindness, resilience, and generous spirit. Whether through her work or her dedication to her family and community, she made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her, especially through her years of teaching.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Natalie Nohr, who will forever carry her love in her heart. She was preceded in death by Harriet and Roy Allen, and Dorothy Wheeler, her aunt.

A funeral will be held on August 28, 2026, at 930am at St. Juan Diego Catholic Church located at 3200 South Cooper Road, Chandler, AZ 85286. The funeral will be streamed for those out of state who are unable to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Valley Humane Society in Casa Grande, AZ, or your favorite organization in honor of her memory.

Barbara’s legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the lives she touched, and the family and friends she so deeply cherished. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
