Art, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Monday June 16, 2025, while at work at Frito-Lay, a place that was more than just a job to him. It was his second home, a place he deeply loved and where he formed strong friendships with his work family.
Art’s greatest blessing in life was his wife, Carla. To Art, Carla wasn’t just his wife. She was his whole world, his comfort, and his very best friend. He loved her with a depth that words could never fully express.
It showed in everything he did; She always felt safe, cherished, and protected by his steady, gentle presence. From the way he looked at her, to the way he spoke about her. Being married to Carla brought Art true joy and happiness. Their life together was full of the little things that matter most. Like their mornings together, sharing homemade meals and unforgettable adventures. Through every high and low, they stood hand in hand never letting go. He cherished her beyond measure, and there was never a day that he wasn’t grateful to call her his wife. Art leaves behind Carla, the love of his life, with whom he shares his whole heart.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Carla Miller. His legacy will continue through his kids. Ashley Klenow (Corey Klenow), Alysha Noyce(Zac Cone), Kassy Csutoras (Bret Csutoras), Katie Meilleur (Michael Meilleur), Maddie Noyce, Don Miller, Jim Miller, Steve Miller, Kody Miller, and Sarah Nohel.
And most dear to his heart, his grandchildren; Jenna, Leo, Beau, Bain, Ava, Vince and Ocean. Art found happiness in grilling and smoking brisket, ribs and tri-tip for the people he loved most. He was always on the lookout for new recipes to master and to create lasting memories.
He was a home-body… happiest surrounded by family, laughter and love. Hawaii was his heaven on Earth. It was the one place that truly brought him peace and joy. He always said “there was something special in the air there, the calm, the beauty and the stillness.” That’s where we will always picture him, sitting near the shore, wind on his face, feet in the sand and his heart at peace.
He was a lead diesel mechanic at Frito-Lay, where he shared his life-long knowledge, and went on to build a life rooted in hard work and integrity. His work family shared:
“He was one of the most respected men of our team. His opinions and guidance were highly valued and often sought after. He took people under his wing, simply because he cared. Always ready to help from the word ‘go.’ He touched so many lives, left a lasting impact, and was loved across the country.”
Art was the kind of man who gave everything he had to his loved ones, to his work, and to the moments that made life memorable. He was the hardest working man we have ever known.
Art grew up in Owosso, Michigan with his mom, Loeota Miller and dad, Glenn Miller, and 4 brothers that he cherished: Mike, Chuck, Bob, and Dave.
Art was valued and loved by many. His steady presence, warm smile, strong hugs and everyone’s favorite, his laugh! He gave everything he had to his loved ones, his work, and the moments that make life truly meaningful. He was the hardest working man we’ve ever known, and he was deeply valued and loved by all who had the honor of knowing him. He will be missed more than words can say.

Sending our thoughts and prayers to the Miller family. As you go through your working career you meet a lot of people, but you don’t come across people like Art too often. People that you gravitate to because of who they are and how they conduct themselves. Art was a great mechanic, but more than that he was a great human! We loved playing practical jokes on Art and he loved giving it back! We will always remember the jokes and the laughs! Art will truly be missed!
