Andrea Laine Stevenson, 38, passed away October 19, 2024 as a result of a stroke.   Though her time here was short, she made a difference in the lives of all who knew her.  She was incredibly talented.  She worked as a Graphic Designer, illustrated children’s books, and ran her own business.  Many would say her true talent was making us laugh.  She had a gift for making any activity more fun.

She enjoyed traveling, with Disneyland being her favorite destination.  She was expert at getting the most out of each park day.

Her greatest joy was in being mother to Fox and Sloane, her two favorite people.  She taught them to love and take care of each other.  She taught them they have a Heavenly Father who loves them.  She taught them the love of books.  She taught them to be silly and share their smiles.

Her generous, kind spirit will be missed.

Andrea is survived by her children, Fox and Sloane Stevenson; parents, Robert and Janet Jones; sister, Bethany (Tim) Cox; and brother, Kyle (Nicole) Jones.

Funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1150 N. Lindsay Rd., Gilbert, at 10am.  Visitation is at 9am.

God now has a beautiful new angel, while he holds her in his arms we will hold her in our hearts. Our love and prayers are always with you.

  • Andrea knew how to make even the most mundane things so fun! When we worked together at a boring job, she always had fun ideas like decorating the office, daily dance parties, taking glamour shots of each other or turning off all the lights and telling ghost stories. She was also part of the Muumuu Society (book club) where she contributed her artistic talents and humor. Andrea supported me through my divorce and career change, and continues to be a huge inspiration to me. I will miss my friend.

Andrea was a beautiful and amazing spirit. Such a talented young woman and wonderful mother. We are just very heartbroken for the whole family. Though her earthly existence was short, she will be able to watch over and influence her sweet babies throughout their life. It’s such a blessing to know that she is in heaven And that you will all be together again.

  • I’m deeply saddened to hear about Andrea’s passing. In the short time I knew her, she made a profound impact on me with her sweet spirit, creativity, and kind heart. She had a way of adding a touch of sparkle to everything she touched – always pairing her immense talent with a witty sense of humor. Andrea will be deeply missed, not only as a talented designer and creative thinker but as a truly kind soul who left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. My heart goes out to her family and all who loved her. ❤️

It’s hard to know what to say at times like this. Its something we never think will happen in our own families. Unfortunately, this life has some horrible things we have to go through. I hope you feel the love everyone has for you and your family. Andrea has left a hole that cannot be filled. I pray the memories will help fill that void and that you are able to see your grandkids a lot. We love your family!

  • I didn’t know Andrea personally, only thru working with her Mom. I do know she was deeply loved and will be terribly missed. But I believe she will be with her family and friends thru their memories . Love never dies. I pray God brings you all comfort.

  • Andrea is a sweet, loving angel on the other side of the veil now. She will be watching over her children and guiding them. When in need, they will feel her presence. I extend my love to your family. We never know when we will be called home. She is wrapped in the love of our Savior, filled with the joy in His presence. May His love bring comfort.

  • I had the privilege of working with Andrea. She is so very talented and always thinking of others. Andrea brought such a beautiful light to our work place. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. Until we meet again ♥️

Andrea was such a beautiful person. I had the pleasure of working with her and albeit for a short time, she left an impact. She faced the front door in our office, so as soon as you walked in, you saw her shining face, quirky cute outfits and gorgeous smile! She always said hi and genuinely cared when she asked how you were. She loved talking about her beautiful kids and we were all in awe when she shared their photos with us. She was wildly talented yet super humble. I’m so very sad to hear of her passing. She was Truly a Bright Light.
My deepest condolences to your family. Love and Prayers, we will meet again. ❤️
