💟 Geraldine Emma Hammond Rosas passed away on 10/30/2021. Known as “Geri” to her family and friends, and respectively, “Mom”, “Grandma” and “GG” to her  Daughters, sons-in-law, Grand and Great Grandkids. She was born in Lena, Wisconsin. She  passed away in her longtime home in Phoenix, at the age of 86.

Geri graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.  She  was always proud of her  4 year perfect attendance record She was adventurous, jovial and loved learning and participating in family activities. She also attended College in Tucson and Phoenix  to further her education. She was the best “Room Mother” for her daughters in Grammar School. She was also very proud of her time spent serving in the Civil Air Patrol in Arizona.

She was married to the love of her life Carlos  for 54 years. She loved sharing her adventures and stories with anyone who would listen. Geri was a kind, sweet and beautiful person who enjoyed being active in her church ,interacting with her family and friends.

She loved traveling, gardening, and reading. Her deep faith and beliefs are what kept her motivated to constantly be strong and rise above. She loved the beauty of nature and appreciated the simple things in life. Her heart was wide open and most forgiving to a fault.

Spending time with her family was her top priority and pleasure.  She always told her Daughters and grandkids how proud she was of their individual accomplishments and milestones. She always believed in building people up instead of tearing them down. This was her “Super Power”!

She is survived by her Daughters Geraldine, Rosa, and Marianne and their husbands and her grandchildren, Aaron (deceased),Tammy, Chase, Kristi, Madison and her 4 beautiful great grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her. Everyone who met her, left with a fuller heart and a smile on their faces.

The interment of Our Dear Cherished, and Beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother will be at a special immediate family only service  to honor and celebrate her beautiful life on Thursday, November 18th at Gilbert Memorial Park.

Geri loved to help those less fortunate than her and all the precious children.
