Vanessa Marie Accra, 43, passed away on November 25, 2025.

Vanessa was born in Fort Meade, Florida, the daughter of Barbara Hutchinson and Vernon Medders. She married Jeff Accra in 2000, and together they shared many years of life before parting ways in 2012. In 2016, she remarried James Bleil, who remained an important part of her life.

A determined and accomplished professional, Vanessa built a successful career as a real estate agent and later excelled as a loan officer. Her dedication, strong work ethic, and genuine care for people left a lasting impact on everyone she worked with.

Vanessa approached life with energy and joy. She loved working out and found immense happiness riding her beloved horse, Walter, whom she proudly showed and competed with. She also had a remarkable gift for hospitality—her home was often filled with family, friends, good meals, and laughter. Vanessa made everyone feel welcome and cared for.

Vanessa is survived by her four children: Alyssa Accra, Nadean Accra, Jamal Accra, and Tyler Accra; her parents; and her sister, Valorie Garcia.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Gilbert Memorial Park.

Vanessa’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.

  • Vanessa-I sit here and look at your beautiful picture and my heart aches knowing that you were hurting so. I know Jesus welcomed you and now you have eternal peace and joy. I lift your Mama and Daddy in prayer as they remember that bouncy, full of energy precious daughter they loved and will miss, and also for Valorie as she loved her sister so deeply. I pray for your children, that they will know how much you loved them and how proud you were of each one of them. May peace be upon all those that loved you and may precious memories always keep you in their hearts as you will always be in mine.

  • Oh Lovely Vanessa, you were such a kind, patient and smart young lady. I had the pleasure to know you through a trading room, you were a great teacher, not only in group but individual sessions. You are sadly missed, may your heart and soul be at piece. I pray for your family, and certainly want your children to know how much you were loved and respected professionally.
